Artist and Inventor Brana Despotov was born in 1960 in Belgrade former Yugoslavia. At the age of three, he took his first picture of his parents and since then developed the passion for photography. Whenever the opportunity was given to take pictures, he gladly took as many pictures from different angles as he could. At the age of six, Brain’s parents emigrated to Denmark, Copenhagen where at the age of seven he started to attend the International private school. He learned fast and his most favorite class was art where he learned to draw, paint and work with clay. Brana was the best student in the elementary school, that’s where the nickname "Brain" comes from and was given the opportunity to finish two classes in only one year. Brana finished the elementary school in only four years, half the time. Being inspired by the art he was creating, Brana invented Magnetic Organ that his father patented for him. When Brana finished the elementary school at the age of eleven, his parents came to Germany where he attended the American High school at the age of twelve. Brana finished the high school at the age of fourteen and saved enough money to buy his first SLR camera. Brana was reading all the photography magazines and was learning and taking pictures every free moment he had. At the age of fifteen he enrolled into college to learn organization sciences and as a teenager got his first picture published at the back cover of Cannon Journal... Brana’s pictures were getting better and better and he started to exhibit and sell them. He was working with his father producing electronic metronomes and Brana invented the one of a kind programmable piano tuner. In 1995 when windows 95 came out, Brana got himself a computer to take his art pictures to another level. The process of creating unique and beautiful art pictures started and this is the first time now that the majority of Brana’s pictures that are not sold out are available in one place, this website, for you to chose. Take your time, look around and pick your favorites.  As time progresses, more pictures will be uploaded Marion Mayer (Art critic)
